Jane owns Wagga-Wuffins Canine College. Jane has been training dogs for over 20 years and has been working full time as a professional for over 10 years, running one of the UK's Leading Training Centres turning what started as a hobby in a successful business venture
Jane has a BSc (Hons) in Canine Behaviour and Training from Hull University, an Advanced Diploma in the Practical Aspects of Companion Animal Behaviour and Training and an Advanced Award in Practical Behaviour Therapy which covers behaviour counselling for Canine Aggression. Both these awards are through the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE) and Accredited with the NOCN.
Jane also has a certificate in Canine Aggression from Myerscough College, has passed the Learning About Dogs Clicker Trainers Competency Assessment Program Level 1 and 2 with distinction. Jane has completed and passed Kennel Club assessments for Judging Spaniel Field Trials and Judging Dogs in Breed Showing; she is a C List breed judge with the Leonberger Club of Great Britain and has made her imported Polish Lowland Sheepdog up to a UK Show Champion.
Jane has written articles for Dogs Today magazine and trains and provides dogs for TV Commercials, Advertising and Film. Jane has also provided demonstration dogs for Management Training Workshops for Large Corporate Events and Live demonstrations for Pet Food Launch Campaigns
Jane is the Kennel Club Accredited Isntructor Scheme Dog Trainer of the Year 2015 a presitigous award presented to her at Crufts 2016 in March
Jane has lectured on the FdSc in Canine Behaviour and Training for Bishop Burton College having recognised Teacher Status with the Hull University to Level 6 in Canine Training and Behaviour Related Subjects
Jane has a City and Guilds Award in Education and Training
Jane has tutored for COAPE (The Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) and has Lectured and Presented their Level 5 OfQual Regulated Practical Modules for the Advanced Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour
Jane presents courses all over the UK for other Trainers and Behaviourists and has lectured on behalf of the UK Kennel Club on their KCAI Events including the Learning Zone at Crufts
Jane is a member of the Coape Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers (CAPBT), The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT UK) Membership no. 1058 and a Registered Animal Trainer with the Animal Training and Behaviour Council (ATBC)
Jane shares her home currently with five dogs, a 12 year old polish lowland sheepdog Snoopy, and four working cocker spaniels, Pickles, The Stig, Mia and Drift, Jane has previously owned Leonbergers for 20 years so has plenty of experience with different breeds and living with a multi dog household.
